Been a Mighty Long Moment...

Well its been a looong time since I have posted something on here. My longest break ever from Xanga.

Life has just been so hectic, I havent really had time to report on it or think about things or reflect. I'm currently in the process of finding another new place to live! That's 4 places in the last 3 years....I am sooo sick and tired of moving. I am hoping that things will slow down once I have found a new place and moved in....I am hoping that I'll be able to breathe for a little bit. I thought a little about maybe moving back up to B-more, but Im not quite ready to leave C2 yet....I do miss being in Bmore and being in easy access to all my friends.....but we shall see......

Wow! Its been almost 2 months since Ive written in here. Man I used to write in here all the time, but lately I havent had the chance...well lets see what has been going on in my life these last couple of months. I guess not much has really happened....Im living life as usual. Work has been unbelievably busy......Im picking up some new project managment responsibilities--which Im really excited about in one way, but also a little disturbed since I dont have enough time to work on my own things, never mind the new additional responsibilities.....

I decided that I wont be going to HK this winter. I was gonna try to go, but I decided I better try and save up some money, Ive been so bad about saving money lately.....

On Halloween, I met a boy who was super sweet and adorable.....I dunno where that is going, but we'll see...he lives entirely too far away for us to even try, I guess (4+ hours).....so he shall have to be my boy-toy for now

For Thanksgiving, my aunts, uncles, and cousins came over to my parents again.  We had about 20 people or so....it was fun...the food was great.....and it was good to see everyone.  Twin also came home from Korea...and bought me all sorts of fun stuff....a piggy cup and some um....penises.......hahahaah! and many silly stories. That Saturday we went to the movies, we were gonna see Enchanted, but ended up seeing something else (dang! Im getting senile...I cant remember what it was....). Then we went to eggspectations where her and I proceed to STUFF OUR FACES as per usual .

Then I was in Denton, TX for work for 3 days......

This past Saturday, Jen and I spent the day out and about. I took the metro in to DC to meet up with Jen for brunch.  It was good to be out and doing stuff.....I feel like I should do it more often.....there is just so much to do in DC....I feel like Im missing out (like I just found out about this fabulous brunch at the Corcoran Gallery thats like a buffet and really pretty in there......) by not going to do more stuff....Anyways....so Jen was running late, so I went to Cowgirl Creamery, which is this cheese shop that sells all these artisinal cheeses, as well as make their own.  I had the Wenslydale which was really good, and I picked up a aged cheddar for Jen to give to her friend which was reeeeeeeeally good....I regret not picking some up for myself. Then I picked up a couple of things for myself at H&M and a stocking stuffer for Mia at Urban Outfitters.  Finally Jen had arrived and we went to lunch at Zatynia, which has Greek/Middle Eastern Mezze (like Tapas).  I had the steak, the taramosalata, and the mixed mushrooms....Jen had the feta cheese, the lamb kabobs, fried potatoes, and kibbeh. I also had this Orange blossom infused lemonade, that smelled like flowers, but tasted like lemonade.......It was all very delicious....Afterwards, we were gonna go back to my place and pick up my car, but we didnt have enough time, so we Metroed to go see this play in Bladensburg (new SW DC--not a good neighborhood for you outta towners )....the play was the ultimate geek-y thing....it was a musical comedy about famous microbiologists ...it was so unbelievable hilarious :P After the play, we went to the Banana Cafe for a couple of drinks, then to dinner at this Belgian restaurant in Eastern Market called Belga. I had the pea, onion, and bacon soup (sooooo good!) and the lavendar five spice duck (excellent!) and for dessert...I had this coffee layered thing, that had coffee ice crea, espresso ice cream, coffee jello, and coffee mousse....Jen had the spice cake with the hot-cold ice cream...we couldnt figure it out til we tried the ice cream by itself.....its vanilla ice cream (or so you think)...you put it in your mouth and its sweet like vanilla ice cream....and you swallow it and its all gone and you're thinking mmm....that was sweet....and then all of a sudden.......you feel a little burning in your throat....and it gets hotter and hotter........the after taste is spicy....how weird! but the food was excellent...I want to have some Mussels from there soon.........someone go back with me.........After dinner we went to Phase 1, the music was pretty good, but Jen and I mostly danced in place since I had all these bags from my day of shopping, and my coat, and some other stuff......hopefully we'll go back soon cuz I liked the music and I havent been dancing in a while!

Hmmm....its been another month since Ive updated....Orianna is right....everyone is prob too busy on Facebook....I still dont think Facebook is as good as Xanga.....but oh well....

Let's see....I havent been doing much.....Ive been sooo super busy at work lately.....that I barely have the energy to make dinner when I get home.

Let's see......what have I been up to?

I went to the Bodies exhibit the other day....it was like $30 but it was really super cool and kinda weird.....and towards the end I was getting so hungry, the human sections started to look like bacon ....but before that I was pretty fascinated.....I think Ill take my parents when the other version comes to Baltimore in Feb. 

I also went to a glassblowing class....that was really cool....I made a flower  and I didnt even burn myself.....(pics coming soon )....if I had more time, I would try to do it again.....it wasnt as hard as pottery class was......

Thats about it.....the rest of my October weekends have already been booked up.......and I'm going to NYC this weekend and Tina and I are gonna eat and stuff our faces and shop and chill all weekend

Man....its been so long that I havent posted on here....I almost forgot how to write a new post!

How come no one uses this anymore???

Anyhoo....life has been extremely hectic!!!

Work has been unbelievable! Ive been swamped with projects.....been working like 10-12 hour days consistently.....its too bad I dont get OT  cuz I'd straight be rolling in dough!

Not much else has been happening.....I guess I havent really had time for much else.....with work and everything.....

I really need a break, but I cant spend my money and my vacation days frivilously.....since Im thinking about going to HK around XMAS time......

I think tho that I shall go to Atlanta at the end of Oct. for a couple of days since Yip Yip is gonna be there :)
